 A "swimming girl" (3D computer model) is displayed in a 2.5" transportable VID prototype, photographed from different angles and distances.

 A handheld demo unit, displaying a V3D image, is held in front of two mirrors, showing features of surround viewing and full motion parallax. 

The Volumetric 3D Interactive Display (VID) can display, in real space, volumetric 3D (V3D) images, which can be viewed from omni-directions by many viewers simultaneously with naked eyes.

It displays moving 3D images with clear spatial information. V3D images display real spatial relations and provide all physiological depth cues, including full motion parallax.

It provides the most natural 3D visual interface for human-computer interaction. Users can access the images from all directions, just like working on actual models.
